Jewsih New Year 08
I wear hats often these days and I wear them low. It projects an unimposing image which I like. It also gives my eyes just enough space with which to study my surroundings. This way my body is a defensive front that I use to get my worldly studies done. I find myself merging to the left so as to follow the herd as more sheep flow in from the right. It seems people are down winded and nervous about things in the days of late. What with a disastrous collapse of our largest banks ya cant really blame em. The way I describe it is simple. Back when everyone you knew in the mortgage biz lost their jobs we all thought it was bad, strange and unamerican for such a thing to happen. Ye we thought it was bad until such things as scale and scope are thrust in our face as was done with this financial tsunami over Wall St recently. Ker less really. Having lived 27 years im starting to see things fitting into place as a toddler might with those toys where you use triangular, square or circular pieces and match them with their respective holes. Beginning to fit things are. I'm told that when I write I sound like Yoda but I think Yoda just sounds wise. I think lazy people take comfort in the fact that the economy has gone to shit and use it as a tool with which to be lazier. Sharks come out during these times and some can benefit much from these idle and frazzled lil ones. More so then ever I have begun to speak slowly, I choose my words with precision and I try to be very concise with them. Dont know exactly why this is but I imagine its a result of many yrs marketing. Its good I guess, no one likes a rambler. Riss is now an associate consulatant @ my firm and I hope that she realizes the opportunity and potential given her. Other than all that its really cool being home for the holidays, not being in a foreign land as I was last year or even worse being in jail. Again, having lived thus far, having been pricked by these thorns here and there I surmise motion and stillness will lead to this dudes demise...

Interesting Note Bout Climate Change And What Google Is Doing About it
At Grist.org they have a saying about climate change: "A frog in water doesn't feel it boil in time. Dude, we are that frog."
It isn't very Googley to stand on the sidelines – whether the challenge involves search, apps, or clean energy. So we're working to be part of the solution. Specifically, we have embraced the challenge of developing a gigawatt of renewable electricity that is cheaper than electricity from coal – in years, not decades.(We call it REC. Not only is it a cool, nerdy name for the project, it breaks HTML pages everywhere.) - Damnit, it even broke mine...GR
In ten years, we envision a cleaner, greener world -- running on wind, solar, and steam - with clean cars plugged into a clean grid. But for that vision to become real, the technologies to power it will have to be economically competitive -- otherwise they won't scale. So we are focusing much of our effort on technology innovation to drive down the costs of key renewable technologies. We are fundamentally optimists -- we believe that when innovative people focus on the right problems, they can find solutions. And when renewable energy is cheaper than fossil-based alternatives, and when plug-in hybrids are as cheap as traditional cars, they will take off in the marketplace. Source: Google Blog

Ripple
These days I take hold of my dogs leash, jump on my board and get propelled by my best friend/infinite MPG engine. He likes to try and pounce on every squirrel around. He stalks to get close and then rips towards them, never catches em but still its a good time to watch. Ripple Van Winkle...
The days of late have been mixed with good things business wise and also in respect to my Upstate case. Cant say anything specific but things are looking better than they did a month and a half ago.
Interestingly, Im beginning to feel as though im flowing in unison with the things around me. This is good. Been reading a lot, Last Kabbalist Of Lisbon, Mind Alive and also about that cocksucker Goerbells. Just lovin the knowledge that I seep.

The Legend Biggie - Who Shot Ya - Warning
Take notice how raw Biggie used to rap. There were no masks on this fat blunt fuck.
He made the vid below while Tupac was still in the hospital recovering from being shot while recording here in Brooklyn. Biggie had feuded with him for a long while before and was in the same building as were his friends. Biggie is speaking directly to 2pac in this song.

Google To Escape US Laws By Way Of Water-Based Data Centres... On Barges.
Google may take its battle for global domination to the high seas with the launch of its own “computer navy”.
The company is considering deploying the supercomputers necessary to operate its internet search engines on barges anchored up to seven miles (11km) offshore.
The “water-based data centres” would use wave energy to power and cool their computers, reducing Google’s costs. Their offshore status would also mean the company would no longer have to pay property taxes on its data centres, which are sited across the world, including in Britain. Source: TimesOnline

People Say Never Forget But We Do
To those souls that had to jump. Quite lives broken by a plane slaming into their building whilst working. A true calamity. Cant even fathom, such fear. Being pushed until your back is @ the window and theres no choice as the heat is simmering but to escape that hell and cool off.
Why A Firearm Is Necassary Whilst Exploring The Outback
VICTORIA, British Columbia - A Canadian man is recovering in the hospital after a black bear swam across a river, climbed onto a dock and then jumped on a boat and attacked him.
Conservation officer Gord Hitchcock said Wednesday the 52-year-old man was fishing at a marina in a tiny coastal community off Canada's Pacific coast when the bear mauled him.
Hitchcock says people tried to help the man using hooked poles, knives and a hammer to pull the bear off of him.
Fire Chief Dan Tennant said he's never heard of such an incident in an area where the bears are normally docile.
Tennant said the man's friends managed to kill the bear.
The unidentified man has been airlifted to a Victoria hospital, where he is recovering from cuts to his arm and upper body. Source: MSNBC

The Current
These days my pockets remain filled with business cards from M.Ds and P.Cs. Quite frustrating it is going out of my way for all of this bullshit. A Mukund R. Patel, M.D took great care of my hand and is an all around good guy. A member of Doctors Without Borders, he goes to poverty stricken countries and offers his expertise at no charge. A youtube vid I will upload soon. My friend Michael Elbaz, P.C has been pivotal in the quelling of my familys concerns and is competent a lawyer enough to know I should see a forensic psychologist for the benefit of my case. I have been, and Dr, Jason Hershberger, M.D. is doing a great job. Lawyers seem to be on my side and all but arent they supposed to? Do they not get paid to b? I dont really know what these psychs think they are going to accomplish with me besides feeding me all of their prescriptions. Seroquil Depakote, trust, sedated I remain nowadays. Besides for that I am a brick wall and no one can really penetrate. No one that is trying to at least. Great music I have learned to love and hold dear lately... I hate to drop names but these here people are good ones sooo. Philip Yanowitch M.D, another shrink on Columbus ave next to the park. Oh, and lets not 4get Tim Murphy P.C. the finest criminal defense attorney in the catskill region... And so, this all is the effect of good family & friends providing a protective shield and finding those that are the best with which to defend me @ a time when I'm exposed.

Finally - Avionic Progress - $20k Plane
The most remarkable things about the ElectraFlyer C are the flying cost - so low it’s absurd - and ultra quiet electric motor. Hand over the cash, and take home a kit which consists of a moni motoglider, choose from one of the three battery packs, bang it all up together - not a very easy job if you have zero DIY skills - and take to the skies.
The ElectraFlyer C complies with FAA regulations. You can opt to buy a ballistic parachute for an extra cost for coming down safely in an emergency.
Most notable benefits, apart from the low flying cost, are the reliable electric motor which requires very little maintenance compared to a typical lightweight gasoline engine, less mess, less noise and therefore no earbuds for the pilot and no pissed off neighbors. Source: DWS Aviation

Truth Bout Mccains Pick, Palin
He wanted to choose the pro-abortion-rights Joe Lieberman as his vice president. If he were still a true maverick, he would have done so. But instead he chose partisanship and politics over country. “God only made one John McCain, and he is his own man,” said the shafted Lieberman in his own tedious convention speech last week. What a pathetic dupe. McCain is now the man of James Dobson and Tony Perkins. The “no surrender” warrior surrendered to the agents of intolerance not just by dumping his pal for Palin but by moving so far to the right on abortion that even Cindy McCain seemed unaware of his radical shift when being interviewed by Katie Couric last week.
That ideological sellout, unfortunately, was not the worst leadership trait the last-minute vice presidential pick revealed about McCain. His speed-dating of Palin reaffirmed a more dangerous personality tic that has dogged his entire career. His decision-making process is impetuous and, in its Bush-like preference for gut instinct over facts, potentially reckless. Source: NYtimes

True News About What Happened Between Russia And Georigia
02/09/08 "TomDispatch" -- - Many Western analysts have chosen to interpret the recent fighting in the Caucasus as the onset of a new Cold War, with a small pro-Western democracy bravely resisting a brutal reincarnation of Stalin's jack-booted Soviet Union. Others have viewed it a throwback to the age-old ethnic politics of southeastern Europe, with assorted minorities using contemporary border disputes to settle ancient scores.
Neither of these explanations is accurate. To fully grasp the recent upheavals in the Caucasus, it is necessary to view the conflict as but a minor skirmish in a far more significant geopolitical struggle between Moscow and Washington over the energy riches of the Caspian Sea basin -- with former Russian President (now Prime Minister) Vladimir Putin emerging as the reigning Grand Master of geostrategic chess and the Bush team turning out to be middling amateurs, at best.
The ultimate prize in this contest is control over the flow of oil and natural gas from the energy-rich Caspian basin to eager markets in Europe and Asia. According to the most recent tally by oil giant BP, the Caspian's leading energy producers, all former "socialist republics" of the Soviet Union -- notably Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan -- together possess approximately 48 billion barrels in proven oil reserves (roughly equivalent to those left in the U.S. and Canada) and 268 trillion cubic feet of natural gas (essentially equivalent to what Saudi Arabia possesses). Reddit Is Filled W/Gossip Luving Shmucks!
Ive just realized something about Reddit.com. After looking from my blog to the right @ the reddit link I have ther wut stares at me is a story about Mccains running mates daughter being pregnant. Then another one explaining further... I can care less really, but if u do ask me Reddit makes the web and perhaps our world with its technology eerily similar to this small town in Israel where I once had a girlfriend. Gossip travelled faster than the plague..
A Recent Post On Craigslist & Reddit
I can only say my name is Gillyroze.
One must wonder, why it is violence hate and pain remain when so much has "changed" in the past 200 years. What? Has no one figured out that it's optional to do this? Do we not teach dogs that they cannot bite? What in the hell is wrong with our all-knowing leaders, our BULLSHIT government? I wish I knew the answer to this but what I can say is that everyone has become desensitized to important international news events. I remember taking classes whilst attending Brooklyn College that changed my life forever. I was a business major and this one class I took was about political, ideological and commercial propaganda. The class delved further into persuasion tactics and I was floored when I heard about Willie Horton, a furloughed muderer that went to kill and rape the same night. Bush, Sr. ran the mugshot in a poignant campaign commercial doing his best to degrade the then Massachusetts governor, something Dukakis. Degrade he did and then went on to become president. Anyway I'm trying to explain that our tv has done something to us. It's got us numb to things because we're slammed with it daily. It's like I explain on my page, we see our news anchors all gleaming and looking pretty. We listen as they explain the weather might be harsh tomo. We listen on as Connie Chung flaps her tung. She says, "Lets get ready for a rainy day and 50 dead in Iraq and THE YANKEES TOOK IT AT SHEA!!!!!!!!" It's true and simple. You see, we're used to understanding that their chosen indifference is correct. It's not. I'm not saying we should cry every time we hear about these terrible things but the fact is I do not see any "leader" govt or whatever that seems to grasp this. Now, let me explain; I'm no professor, I'm a 27 year old born and bred New Yorker with an international twinge attained after a combined couple of yrs backbacking such places as New Zealand, Australia, Europe, and some of the Middle East. You can see and read about my encounters in these places on this page. Ye I've traveled around but I'm not one that gloats. I'm a Blogger, a Redditor, a Craigslister, a Twitterer. Screw that, I am nothing and so are you compared to the big picture. Apparently there is a fog within most of our minds that distorts this Jpeg. I don't understand why it is America, with all its great brains suffering from short-term memory loss, already forgot about the movement our parents started, a movement of love. You can often catch me on the B train headed towards the city from Brooklyn. For me, this provides a simulation, if you will, of the typical American. I do not see too many standing firm and erect. It does not seem too many have faith. With all the controversy surrounding the Church these days, this comes as no surprise. I look at them and I wonder what do they need to hear to jolly up? If I had to guess, I would assume that they weren't to believe that the grass isn't greener on the other side. We've got 2 interesting characters running for president. But that's really what they are. Don't know about you but their eyes do not convince me. I have been writing for 2 years. This Labor Day weekend will mark my 2nd year as a covert soul posing as your average Joe, snapping shots with my eyes as 007 does with his cute little camera, collecting facts. Like the facts gathered from throughout the world from other people posing. I began this page 2 years ago so that I could share my findings with my future, older, smarter self. I write this here post and invite you to visit my page because an interesting chapter is beginning. I am the type that you will find hanging by the pond in Central Park NY with my Golden Lab or perhaps Lake Taupo in New Zealand, catching fish with a Swiss Army knife. I never watch the news, I read it off a very lonesome-looking ticker that provides headlines only and remains on the top of my desktop at all times.
When we grow up, we come to the sad realization that money is what runs this world. Everyone around us has a certain pace at which they're moving. In this here city, everyone seems rushed. Thats fine afterall it is NYC but I always questioned the immigrants, wondering why would they leave their beautiful and laid back countries to enter this race. To try and compete to become a thoroughbred? Do they realize that happiness is all in their heads? Early this summer, when my 15-year-old little sister was robbed by a big scary black dude with a gun, I sat and I thought not only was my youth tough but even now, post-Giuliani, seems the younger generation will not be spared the chill that emanates from this block of ice we call Earth. I tell of great random experiences that I've encountered simply moving, nomadic throughout the world. Every dollar I will attain I will use to further a goal that is common to us all. I do not know what to name it. I do not know whether it is a religion, a way of life... I do not know if it should be formed into a political party. What I do know is that I need help to grow it. Change must be made and people try to make it by way of charity but what they do not understand is that even these charities are after 1 simple thing: profits. If you are one that likes to give to large charities, then perhaps you should check out http://www.transparency.org to see if in fact your charity is giving to those that deserve. My page was public for a long while, until much controversy had forced me to make it private. This has been extremely difficult for me as I feel I have much that people can learn scattered throughout my monthly archives. Together, with our efforts combined, we might just be able to make people see vivid and clear, the true image. Bright in its colors and loud as a siren.
