Some Interesting Observations
Something I should note, ever since being given "SkunkWorks Mondays" to cook up all sorts of counter-stupifying stuff, I have started to learn well that information or intelligence is so very, very key to quicken success up with things.
Brings to mind Sun Tzus quote, "Every war is won before it even begins." Not sure if this is what he meant when saying that, but I have a good feeling.
Intelligence gives you with what to work. Intelligence allows you to make informed decisions.
I thought I was wise using websites like www.Spyfu.com or www.Buzzsumo.com, www.Compete.com all jokes compared to serious intelligence gathering companies like www.Palantir.com or www.Meltwater.com
I was telling my new flatmate here in Soho, his dad owns this (Panica) network in Brazil, with shows like Survivor and other funny stuff. Nearly 9 Million twitter followers. Here is an example of his work below.
An impressionable young kid (my little sisters age) which I am strategically helping/influencing to make him see, and who was sorta struck with a light bulb moment when I made clear to him what power he yields, because of his dad.
So... Back to the point here. Take a look at the video below to understand and start loving these tools with which we can seep knowledge and intelligence.
A Strangers Invitation - Part 1
On the 4th day of hannukah a message came to me. Weird because whoever left it happened to drink my wine and placed an envelope right next to the empty glass.
Hmm, I was thinking as I opened it. Glitter EVERYWHERE as I thought "fuckkk!! I was pranked".
As I go to throw it out and begin to scheme up ways to "payback" whoever did this to me, I break down possibilitie. Was it Zohar? Nah, too busy with the baby. Ronnie? He would do someth.... what's this? A letter under all the glitter.
It read:
"To the roses thorn,
Your presence would be graciously appreciated at a private event with the "Shablackhgafalzalintfueitiviousneressniwit" family. [The fuck?]
Your host and family will like for you to appear, on the 3rd sunset, on the Lower East Side of a city they call Manhattan, at the intersection of Ganeden Street and Gehonom Ave."
Wow, these Nigerians have become quite sophisticated, stepped up their game. Picking up on current trends, and even want to meet. That is definitely new.
I think nothing of it as two days pass and then I remember a person with whom I once spoke, he shared with me that he lost $20,000 to a scammer pulling the same type shit.
Fuck it I said, I'll go just to mess with these guys. I once heard and saw images of a similar scammer who was convinced by the scamee to get tattoos of Mr. Burns from the Simpsons on his chest. Was very amusing to see.
So, I head out and I bring my pocket knife with me, just in case.
I made a right down the street and suddenly realized, I don't recognize anything around me. Did I never come down this way? Well, I continue on and see Gehonom Ave. It struck me to be a run down, grayish type of bland place. I went to ask someone if I was going in the right direction but their ears were muffled, listening to something, eyes in a trance. I look closer and see little screens on their eyeballs. They seemed to be strained, confused, in some sort of anguish - mentally busy anyway. Everyone I turned to was the same.
I continue on when a vagrant asked me for change. Filthy and dirty, I just wanted to get away and so I made a sharp turn onto Chaim St to avoid him. When I looked back to make sure he isn't following me I notice the scene has changed and all I saw behind me was a cliff I would have most certainly fell off had I not turned.
I can see the sign for GanEden St and where it meets with Gehonom. Definitely brighter, more colorful area, GanEden St is.
I knock on the door at 101 and look around. A humble building, smaller than the others around but definitely comfy. "Sinai Arms" it said on a plaque outside with faint lettering. I can only make out the EST but nothing after it, for NY it def looks old.
A water well was outside of the place and I thought who the hell uses wells in NYC? Bunch of women laboring over the thing, picking them up, putting them down.
One caught my eye as I noticed she was gracious with her movements, had good balance I thought. Hmm, I like that she actually bends @ the knees when picking things up rather than, well, shoving her ass in the air...
With my face pointing to the right, where this amazing girl was, I went to knock on the door in front of me and I noticed my hand is going further than it should. It was opened.
I walk inside and a feeling of warmth envelopes me. Amazing little trinkets and colorful auras emanating from all of these little things. I need to find out where in China Town they get this stuff.
As I adjust the patch on my left eye, I receive a tiny but sharp jolt of pain from the unsuccessful surgery I had had to try and fix it.
From the corner of my right eye I notice someone to my left moving back in forth, trancelike, in prayer, with straps of black leather wrapped several times around his arm and hand. Tefillin.
As I go to ask him what exactly is going on here and what this is all about I was struck by the depth in his eyes. I had to look twice, broke contact and then thrice and was simply transfixed. Like a vast sunny ocean behind what is normally just a glassy stare.
I began to move my lips to ask him again, when he put out his arm for me to grasp and shake it. I looked at it and so I did. He explained his name is Jesus and that he... Oh my friends name is Jesus, I proclaimed. "Not [hey Zeus!!] that's my cousin and he is on business in Athens @ the moment. It's [Jee Zus]"
Jesus, calm down dude. I gotchya, I said.
"I want to introduce you to my mother"
With that he took me into another room where I saw a woman dressed in some sort of religious attire, looked like a nun, looked naive, definitely a virgin if I had to guess.
She began to explain that she likes to put careful planning into things, quite superstitious as she kept on blessing the name of her son "may he live forever" "may he be successful"
She went on about the meticulous way that she planned how to cook the chicken in the oven. Calculating and analytical, a sudden thought jumped to mind. God forbid this woman ever cooks up a scheme to manipulate people and use her obvious ability to think things thru to do it.
Anyway, Jesus came over and said he wanted to show me a trick. Quite the show off he is actually. Now that I stop to think of it for a fraction of a moment, he certainly likes recognition. He put a bucket in the sink and filled it with water. He then placed the bucket in between the two of us and stepped into it with his left foot. He went on to put all his weight on his left foot and to my surprise it did not sink into the bucket. Quite impressive I thought and also said to him, while in the back of my mind I'm thinking I shouldve TVoed David Blains last show so I can pull this kind of shit in the bars and impress the females.
Trying not to waste time, I explain (lying) that I have some place to be soon.

"Courage is not simply one of the virtues, but the form of every virtue at the testing point." ~ C.S. Lewis on how to be a better writer [Amazing Advice]
What really matters is:–
1. Always try to use the language so as to make quite clear what you mean and make sure your sentence couldn't mean anything else.
2. Always prefer the plain direct word to the long, vague one. Don'timplement promises, but keep them.
3. Never use abstract nouns when concrete ones will do. If you mean "More people died" don't say "Mortality rose."
4. In writing. Don't use adjectives which merely tell us how you want us to feel about the thing you are describing. I mean, instead of telling us a thing was "terrible," describe it so that we'll be terrified. Don't say it was "delightful"; make us say "delightful" when we've read the description. You see, all those words (horrifying, wonderful, hideous, exquisite) are only like saying to your readers, "Please will you do my job for me."
5. Don't use words too big for the subject. Don't say "infinitely" when you mean "very"; otherwise you'll have no word left when you want to talk about something really infinite.
Thanks for the photos. You and Aslan both look v. well. I hope you'll like your new home.

Time and how it limits progress.
Since time is a man made, invisible limitation, I can't suggest harnessing this concept unless it has to do with congregating for some sort of beneficial action, hwhatever that might be..
I think the concept of time is one of the things that oppresses people sooo fuck all that noise.
Introspective, extroverted, learning to see past faces and glassy eyed masks of experience, knowledge, into the souls of lions who have been limited and caged by their brains.

Point of view from a Hamas Fighters Perspective.
Also, now my 5 year old neighbors parents are angry at me because I had used the little girl as a human shield when the IDF was returning fire in my direction.
The worst part is my oppression from progressive thought due to incapacitating influence my religion and strict leaders have chained my people with.
I know that israel is more advanced and that I'll probably have a kindergarten named after me when I am martyred but at least then I'll have peace.
Mostly what's paramount to us is keeping people confused, thinking that we are doing this for a just cause, that Israel stole our land, rapes our daughters, controls the world with their evil [think MuHaHA]. Really the only reason that we terrorize our own people is Money and political power.
To close, I would say that I know my people need education in order to grow and prosper but they are not ready to accept that fact.
I wish that I can change things and talk about my ideas for progress but then my head comes off so I bite my tongue, knowing even my children are led blindly by this ideology of murder, martyrdom and death. The stifling of their education will only serve to prolong the problem for generations"
-Gillyroze - If I were a Hamas Fighter.
[For full disclosure purposes, I am not a Hamas terrorist, just a blogger from NY.]

My answer to a quora question: Is capitalism dystopian?
Do you realize that if some corporations simply share a bit of their profits that poverty can be eradicated across the world.
Like when they converted factories to make goods for the front during WW2.
In my opinion we are most certainly living In a dystopian societ bc of the failure of the elite to love and care for everybody on the planet, not just themselves and their families/friends.
This survival of the fittest "I beat you, I'm the best" nonsense which at one point as humans was necessary but not anymore, for survival, is complete shit and doesn't take into consideration the innocent weak.
I eat the best delicacies in specialty food shops to my hearts content, free. Here in Soho, NYC. Why? Because stupid people are conditioned to look for a vagrant with torn cloths and all. I go to my favorite cheeses, try a few of the best and most expensive and then explain (with a snobby aura) that "it isn't up to par with my standard."
Just trying to show an example of the result of conditioning here.
I think people are missing the point of the question though.
He is asking if capitalism, as it currently works, is dystopian.
Considering that the technology to eradicate hunger and homelessness already exists, but isn't put to that use, is quite intriguing.
Perhaps those in charge don't think simply giving these people these things is the way to go.
I understand the whole teach a man to fish don't give him one thing but they fail to even meet these people in the middle with proper education etc.
There's a story of a man who asked an Indian once where he saw the white went wrong.
The Indian man explained that he didn't understand why when the "white men" came they had wayyy more stuff than that needed.
He couldn't understand the whole concept of hoarding wealth the way we do.
He explained that if there was someone within their community who didn't have a house, they would feel pity for the person and the whole community then builds that persona house.
Considering this, the way Capitalism works today is definitely dystopian/Orwellian. It is a form of mental illness associated with conforming that leads others here, with their answers, to think capitalism, as it is, is the best way. You have to be insane to fit well within an insane society.
And people wonder why they are depressed.

Fintech disruptors to keep an eye on in 2015
With a prosperous 2015 in mind, we are taking a close look at fintech (Financial Technologies) so that we can help you to properly evaluate potential high growth investments you might want to consider for your portfolio this year.
Fact is, we have seen trends during 2014 regarding fintech that are sure to make a splash in the industry moving forward into the new year and we are hoping to help you to consider these things before they make more of a ripple within the industry.
Banks have been realizing that innovations brought about by competing startups are best met with agility so as to evolve from the old mentality into one that proactively, meets head on, challenges in the market, even foresees them.
1) New payment options:
Cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin have been in the news both positively and negatively in the past year.
It's important to note that such new payment technologies, Bitcoin specifically, has been warmly accepted by Governments such as the UK's but not so much by China.
Many believe that interesting new technologies will sprout out of the cryptocurrency/digital payment market with disruptive solutions that will grow very fast.
2) Mobile payments:
Mobile payments has been a hot topic this year. Not only does mobile payment tech make life much easier, but it is set to become standard in the near future. More new entrants than ever before have been springing up with what many consider to be "disruptive" solutions, meaning they are changing the landscape with which businesses traditionally transact.
Some experts believe that Apple Pay has the potential to disrupt the entire sector. Since October 2014, US residents with an iPhone 6 have been able to pay for retailers and restaurants via their fingerprint or by holding their iPhone over an enabled Point of Sale (POS) system.
2015 promises to be a year in which the world of payments will change dramatically. The industry is at the beginning of a period of intense structural change but it is far too early to pick winners and losers in this changing market. At one end of the spectrum, the banks appear to have the most to lose, given the threat to their traditional position that alternative providers of cheap, secure and timely payments can provide. But they have long records of resilience, have strength in their existing customer relationships and reach and should not, therefore, be under-estimated. At the other end of the spectrum, who would bet against Amazon, Apple or Google, given their rapid growth and success in other sectors? And, in between, there are a multitude of offerings that must find a way to carve out a unique, lucrative and sustainable position in an increasingly competitive field.
- Anthony Duffy, Management Consultant in Financial Services in UK & Ireland at Fujitsu
3) Financial Data:
With the accumulation of necessity to store more and more financial information. From front to back-office, trade operations, regulatory controls and risk management, firms have been searching for new easier to manage ways to help them cope with the velocity, volume and variety of big data.
Banks are trying hard to understand their customers better. This, because they have seen disruptive startups creeping into their space with innovative solutions that are well received by consumers. An example of a way that they are trying to utilize customer data is by using it to target people with ads on their bank statements but this targeted marketing method has yet to be evaluated in terms of efficiency.
4) Customer-centricity:
Banks have come to realize that it is better to get to know their clients on a one on one basis rather than clustering them into large categorical groups. Demands for digitalisation and enabling customers to send money on the go is a task that every bank is now undertaking, whether this is through the implementation of a mobile banking app, or providing omni-channel banking over a variety of different devices.
"Embedding client-centricity into a company’s culture is a key differentiator. This is about every employee owning the client experience and using every interaction as an opportunity to delight and strengthen relationships." -Bill Pappas (CIO of Global Wholesale Banking Technology & Operations at BofAML
5) Cloud Migration:
Cloud computing has become far more widely accepted during 2014. Many firms have learned that marketing, collaboration and productivity are more easily managed in the cloud. Cloud adaptation greatly reduces costs and research shows that many companies who have yet to transition plan to do so in the next year or two.
In terms of security however, the cloud still poses some very real risks.
6) Integration and collaboration:
Fact is, so many startups have disrupted the fintech space this year that banks have come to realize that it is a good idea to partner with or buy several of them.
All types of fintech accelerator programs have sprung up looking to help grow innovative entrepreneurs and their ideas.
DevOps is a buzz word that became pretty hot in 2014. DevOps is the fusion of development and operations teams which usually work in sync around a common set of tools. The aim is for developers and operations professionals to work closer together to benefit the business and the result of this union is tighter integration that allows applications to be developed more quickly with better quality results.
There have been many more developments in the fintech space last year but these are the significant ones that are worthy of keeping an eye on.

“We all wear masks, and the time comes when we cannot remove them without removing some of our own skin.” ― AndrĂ© Berthiaume
So I walk around with this mask crazy glued onto my head, and so do you and everyone else.
And it's quite funny to stand behind this mask and analyze things critically. When I say "things" I mean fucking everything.
This leads to openly innovative thought wherever you are. Recently I was on Quora (where I spend most of my time these days) and asked how exactly one can practice to think creatively and remain innovative.
Interesting answers I received.
Really only interested in things that are profound.
My social media interests used to look like this around a year ago:
Reddit.com/r/conspiracy - 70% You can find some thought provoking stuff here (and BS) I am Banned from there.
Facebook - 15%
Linkedin - 15%
These days it looks something like this:
Quora - 80% There are unbelievably smart/sharp sages who hang out here. A very useful tool when on the prowl to feed your sponge with intelligence.
Linkedin - 15%
Reddit 4%
Facebook - 1%
A lot more serious, realizing that reality is easily influenced, like a child. Realizing that only challenges worth fighting for are even worth spending time thinking about.
Very noble and high reaching goals that are disruptive and world changing - not typical.
Interests in new things, for example, taking violin lessons and will soon be able to play this song for you.
Not happy with the status quo but still Tokyo drift style screeching around that old learning curve as to how to strategically change it.
