10 Rules For Being Human
  1. You will receive a body. You may like it or hate it, but it’s yours to keep for the entire period.
  1. You will learn lessons. You are enrolled in a full-time informal school called, “life.”
  1. There are no mistakes, only lessons. Growth is a process of trial, error, and experimentation. The “failed” experiments are as much a part of the process as the experiments that ultimately “work.”
  1. Lessons are repeated until they are learned. A lesson will be presented to you in various forms until you have learned it. When you have learned it, you can go on to the next lesson.
  1. Learning lessons does not end. There’s no part of life that doesn’t contain its lessons. If you’re alive, that means there are still lessons to be learned.
  1. “There” is no better a place than “here.” When your “there” has become a “here”, you will simply obtain another “there” that will again look better than “here.”
  1. Other people are merely mirrors of you. You cannot love or hate something about another person unless it reflects to you something you love or hate about yourself.
  1. What you make of your life is up to you. You have all the tools and resources you need. What you do with them is up to you. The choice is yours.
  1. Your answers lie within you. The answers to life’s questions lie within you. All you need to do is look, listen, and trust.
  1. You will forget all of this.

It truly is a unique feeling to actually love another animal

Since I dont have too many here, I took the best and most loyal friend-o-mine with me to "Laila Lavan" which translates to white night and turns tel aviv into one big (night long) party. Its annual, been to other ones before. This one was lame.

The Current

Here I am sitting at a Google "how to test your competition" conference w/a speaker from the company, here in Tel-aviv. I cant help but notice how people are forever trying to sell me shit. The speaker is young and seems sharp but this is very simply a "commercial" for Google adwords. Feel robbed quite honestly because the title of this meetup was "Strategic Analysis of a new Idea" but only Google tools are being spoken about. Why not mention Spyfu.com? Oh, that's right, you won't profit if we use a free service that provides the same you charge for..

I post these things because they agree with my thinking

I thought it proper to note

I've noticed, regardless of the fact that I remain busy these days, that I am more active on this page in the weeks/cupl months of late. Had me thinking. Because of how odd life is, thought it funny that this page was originally created after a break-up. Remember clearly the scenario. I like to learn then share random knowledge. So, I can be caught rambling about one thing or another to girlfriends I've had.  This used to annoy one of them and is reinforced by the fact that my last would fall asleep in the midst of my rambling. Page was created together with the ending of a 5 year relationship. It's where I come as one does to a therapist to speak...no difference. Any time I've gone to a real one, most of the time their speech would sound like nothing more than noise. Anyway, guess I'm being more active these days because I have more to say or on the flipside because less with whom to share. Wish I can be sharing this Goldstar with Freud, so he can make like a flashlight and shed some light.

Beware of images

"In 1929, the Belgian artist Rene Magritte created The Treachery of Images. The painting showed a pipe, and under it the paradoxical inscription This is not a pipe. When it was pointed out to him that what he had created was in fact a pipe, Magritte replied “OK, you should try filling it with tobacco then”.

Stated 10 years before the infamous WWII propaganda campaigns, Magritte’s warning was clear: Beware of the seductive and deceptive power of images.
