My canvas is a blank page...

I think the time has come, I scribble and jot.
My belly is larger the days of late.
The weeks of past it was certainly not.

I think it's due to whence I rested my head.
To a new location I went, but with it came dread.

For how can one feel glee,
with limited people to see.
Without his family.

I see the year past,
much like so long a class.

Once I was like most that are,
influenced by rubbish laid before me,
I hadn't the wit to view from afar.

Perspective is often not given.
Not all choose to see,
why disrupt your comfort "Go away, leave me be!"

And so whilst I wave my white flag,
above my head rest my hands.
All but forgotten, a possible Utopian land.

Because those that are set,
they beget false beliefs,
but they are all followed
the world is a queef...

Current (maniacal) read

In this book Aldous Huxley gives us a fictitious view of a world where counting the date started as A.F. similarly to B.C. (before/after Christ), A.F. is an acronym of After Ford. During the time when the book was published, the Ford motor company was todays Apple or Microsoft. Goes on about (and properly predicts) the advanced automation and synthetic ness of everything, and of a drugged up -- government controlled world of slaves (ala animal farm). I don't like fiction but in this book he foretold or imagined things that are playing out in our world today. Things he could never have definitively knew. Quite interesting though I wouldn't recommend it much as I would the book below, Animal Farm which is a story about Stalinism and a creatively written vision of  Gov't control. Told through a story about talking animals running their own farm.

Politics and the English Language

Politics and the English Language

An essay discussing the degeneration of the use of the English language. How it's been diluted to confuse and decieve. Eric Arthur Blair, better known as George Orwell was a brilliant dude.

A year I'll never forget - I'm back home

I remember throughout my life, holding a grudge against my parents and resenting them for "leaving Israel, the beautiful country, for this cesspool" which I found NYC to be. I owe them a thousand apologies. Israel is a desert, a mostly baron land still being developed, building cranes far as the eye can see, occupied mostly by self serving, small minded, world raping people who don't see further than the prospect of surviving or decreasing the "minuses" they have in their banks and mind not taking advantage of "their fellow brothers and sisters" to meet that end. Israel has left a bad taste in my mouth and I don't foresee myself setting foot over there for a long, long while.

Although I may not deem it fit to live in, I shall not talk down all of the people there. One of them has helped me to see things clearer than ever I have. To return back to the Gilly that once was, before all sorts of influence molded me. It's been a long while if ever it's even been, that I know exactly what I want from my life. To sharpen my mind and soon grow a family.

Quite honestly, these days, there is only a small space in my heart that cares for Israel and that space is filled only because my lovely little sister schools there.

I can only guess that before moving to Israel I forgot I am a true to the color black New Yorker. A true to the red white and blue 'Merican who because of many influences I let in, lost myself and thought I'd find it elsewhere. Nah, both the city and the country found in this state is where this soul belongs, will dwell, and will remain.
