NYC Police

Had a run in just now with a cop in Floyd Bennet Field. Apparently the schmucks that sold me my motorcycle, in their haste to get me to sign on the X and out the door, told me that I was all ready and set to hit the road. Well, today I found out that there is no registration sticker on it and my plates are registered to the dealership not me. Anyway, all of this matters not. Since I havent a motorcycle license the copper didnt want to let me drive off. he said they were gonna have to take the bike and give it back when I pay fines and return with a friend that has a motorcycle license (been through this before). It would have meant that my day was to be ruined. Everything, I tried. Telling him "im just gonna ride it home" explaining this, trying that, nothing worked. Copper was on the radio with his buddies getting information about me. Seemed about ready, after explaining he cant let me go because if I hit someone on the way home it would come back to bite him in the ass, to write me up. I have a friend whos uncle was killed while on duty here in Brooklyn and I often drop his name, saying hes my uncle, to police hoping to get out of tickets when stopped.
Sometimes it works but never did anyone surprise me the way this cop did today. His eyes lit up and he proclaimed he was friends with Joe Galapo, was at his funeral and his best friend was partners with him. Caught me off guard. Now, this cop that stopped me today was around 45-50 and was a sharp and  stern dude. Wasnt about to let some slick motorcyclist pull a fast one on em. He began to ask questions, where did he die? How was he killed? After successfully satisfying his enquiries I noticed something. An incredible camaraderie there is between police. Probably thru out all service related positions where people can die on the job. Just earlier he was sure about not letting me go but then quickly changed his mind. Looked me straight in the eye as if saying, "dont worry about it kid, I got your back" but said, "alright get outta here" NY city cops are unlike the jerk offs in New jersey or any other state or even any county within ours I reckon. Their cool if you are and vice versa

Fuck The French - French Friend Of A Friends Facebook Outcry

"Will the world say nothing - again - as it did in Hitler's time? He writes, "I AM A JEW -- therefore I am forwarding this to everyone on all my e-mail lists. I will not sit back and do nothing." Nowhere have the flames of anti-Semitism burned more furiously than in France: In Lyon, a car was rammed into a synagogue and set on fire. In Montpellier, the Jewish religious center was firebombed; so were synagogues in Strasbourg and Marseilles; so was a Jewish school in Creteil - all recently. A Jewish sports club in Toulouse was attacked with Molotov cocktails, and on the statue of Alfred Dreyfus in Paris, the words "Dirty Jew" were painted. In Bondy, 15 men beat up members of a Jewish football team with sticks and metal bars. The bus that takes Jewish children to school in Aubervilliers has been attacked three times in the last 14 months.

"According to the Police, metropolitan Paris has seen 10 to 12 anti-Jewish incidents PER DAY in the past 30 days. Walls in Jewish neighborhoods have been defaced with slogans proclaiming "Jews to the gas chambers" and "Death to the Jews." A gunman opened fire on a kosher butcher's shop (and, of course, the butcher) in Toulouse, France; a Jewish couple in their 20's were beaten up by five men in Villeurbanne, France The woman was pregnant; a Jewish school was broken into and vandalized in Sarcelles, France . This was just in the past week.

"So I call on you, whether you are a fellow Jew, a friend, or merely a person with the capacity and desire to distinguish decency from depravity, to do, at least, these three simple things:

" First, care enough to stay informed. Don't ever let yourself become deluded into thinking that this is not your fight. I remind you of what Pastor Neimoller said in World War II: "First they came for the Communists, and I didn't speak up, because I wasn't a Communist. Then they came for the Jews, and I didn't speak up, because I wasn't a Jew. Then they came for the Catholics, and I didn't speak up, because I was a Protestant. Then they came for me, and by that time there was no one left to speak up for me".

Second, boycott France and French products. Only the Arab countries are more toxically anti-Semitic and, unlike them, France exports more than just oil and hatred. So boycott their wines and their perfumes. Boycott their clothes and their food stuffs. Boycott their movies. Definitely boycott their shores. If we are resolved we can exert amazing pressure and, whatever else we may know about the French, we most certainly know that they are like a cobweb in a hurricane in the face of well-directed pressure.

Third, send this along to your family, your friends, and your co-workers. Think of all of the people of good conscience that you know and let them know that you and the people that you care about need their help.

The number one bestselling book in France is...."September 11: The Frightening Fraud," which argues that no plane ever hit the Pentagon.

Please Pass This On.
Let not let history repeat itself, thank-you for your time and consideration.

Some Old Shots I Want To Remain

The shot below is of a menu @ cafe in Amsterdam

It Is Gloomy Outside of My Window

Assuming we are supposed to always, whenever we wake without a smile, we accept prescriptions from our doctors so as to "fix" the "chemical imbalance" we apparantly have. 80% of people I know are on some sort of meds. Fell victim to it once myself. It seems what has happened is this; In order to push these drugs on unsuspecting Americans, doctors now say that if you are downwinded you should make yourself a slave to big pharmas. Problem with this is that its self defeating and certainly not necessary (for the vast majority). True depression probably only plagues 1% of the already medicated and dependant. All the rest are just paying for their mistakes naturally, by being their own worst critics.

I once met an old man while waiting for the public restroom to finish being cleaned @ Washington Square. He was wise and it was clear. He said, "every human being pays dearly for their crimes or misdeeds, if not regular, classic justice, then it is their own mind that makes them pay"... He is so dead on. Now, im not saying that that natural form of justice isn't good, couldn't care less, just trying to give an example of how your everyday can be manipulated by something you might never have held suspect. So if your in a rut, grab hold of yourself and climb the fuk out. Remember that your own mind can be your enemy and so OWN IT and program it to your liking.

Many a book there are everywhere documenting our past, our paths and how things were. This is taken by many as an example of what should be. Do ya think that thats proper progression???

Shoei Hornet DS

I never knew, because I never really invested in a quality helmet, just how much it can change your ride. Give you more confidence, and quell the noisiness all around. Well, after spending $500 on this Shoei, I now know... Putting this thing on is like closing the vacuum doors of a Bentley.

1 Year Back Home

I will always mark my return home from NZ en AU with the birth of my nephew. Its an interesting time now. Economy is shot, people suffering, 2 distinctly different characters running for president. Outcome expected tomorrow. Cant tell ya how many I know that have vowed to move to Australia or Amsterdam if Mccain in some way (like Bush) fixes the election. Either way, riots are expected. I can sum up my concern for the outcome of the election and the American economy with 2 words. FUCK ALL! This is that time when true Americanism is realized. With this economic tsunami, there are those that run in circles and smack the tops of their heads as if their hair is on fire. They can't face change or step outside of their box and calculate their moves. Any competent executive should move with the caution and precision of a cat. There is no time to commiserate. Those frazzled, have no chance... Its rather funny how I see things these days. Ever since that fall upstate, there has been a distinct change in me. Its pretty simple to explain. This is my world; I am this entity that lives in the head of Gilly Roze. I am the one that moves his fingers, his tongue and his eyes. Vanity and recognition were both things that were important to me. As they are to many people. But, I'd nearly lost this shell I've accepted on Feb 24th 1981 many atimes as I simply love to live freely. But, since falling, its been realized, further control must be taken.. Control, so that b4 this body is of no use, I use it for its full potential. So now I carry round this person that looks at me in the mirror. I worry for him and I plan. Sometimes its boring... Boring cause I'm familiar with the actors, singers and just about all of the entertaining things that this plain has to offer. I wonder with wide opened eyes about those from others. Other worlds, in the after life or on other planets, with more interesting characters than the ones im so very used to here. Anyway, If we were to run into each other after a while apart you might assume that maybe I have lower blood pressure or that just yesterday I lost someone close to me. This is because of my solemn mood. Its not because im sad, heck no, actaully happier and more ALIVE and AWAKE then ever. Its an awareness, an enlightenment. Buddha has got jack on it. Maybe its cause Im older and things are becoming clearer.

Or maybe, somewhere along the way, as I do my keys, my mind I lost and am Rambling!!!! Frantically!!!!!
