People are so worried about how long they will live, whether they will go to heaven or hell, all the while cheating themselves out of life.

How Business Owners Are Gaming Yelp And Costing Other Businesses Millions A Year
Recently, a business owner friend I know shared with me something his competitors are doing, basically costing him hundreds of thousands of dollars a month.
Yelp does a very poor job, unlike say Amazon, to authenticate their reviews.
Effectively allowing any soul with an IP address to damage the reputation, strategically*, of any other business.
So my friends competition is running around wildly writing reviews, using NinjaCloak to fool Yelp into thinking it is a different reviewer every time. They are even buying accounts from people who have been Yelp users for years, and using those accounts to write positive and negative reviews about businesses.
Why it is companies like Yelp are slow to innovate is simple. When I spoke with a "low level" employee yesterday, a salesman who was very helpful, I shared with him a way that the review system can be a LOCKED SYSTEM - UNGAMEABLE.
His response was, "yeah that is excellent but I would have no way to even know who to contact regarding that" I told him that if I was the CEO, I would be sitting right beside him, coaching, learning, trying to better the business using insight from everyone. Even ask the janitor about important things.
Apparently Yelp hasn't heard about DevOps - A simple philosophy that involves operations with development *burp*
Their failure in the first place to consider fixing this themselves says a lot about their company.
I must say, it is quite fun to do whatever the fuck you want, whenever the fuck you want.

Polygamists Rock!
These days I walk around with the understanding that everything is an illusion and you can die in 5 minutes from now.
I guess that means that that thing you were sure that you were going to get done w/ur time here (on this planet) might not get done, unless you move your ass.
Was walking across Spring and Lafayette with Eugene Davis and my Brazilian friend, Eduardo when I came to the realization - polygamy is an excellent practice. I mean, what the hell else can a man ask for? What's nice is that when you're done "doing your thing" instead of listening to the yapping, you can just move on to the next and repeat the process. This is efficient and good.
Kinda like Sebastian from the movie Cruel Intentions, only older, more experienced, wiser, and I let no bitch "get in". After learning that my best friend and dog, Rip Van Winkle is not welcome @ my loft, I took him over to the apartment where I was living before to have my old room and the place for himself. It's only 4 blocks away from my current nest. The only battle @ this point, since I can easily secure this place for Rip, as his own Soho apartment, have regular bonding visits from me, is to get Eugene to get over his allergies and agree to having my dog as his roommate.
He is a very well traveled, renaissance type doggy soul anyway, and so I don't see why Eugene wouldn't just be humbled* by the situation.

Some Interesting Observations
Something I should note, ever since being given "SkunkWorks Mondays" to cook up all sorts of counter-stupifying stuff, I have started to learn well that information or intelligence is so very, very key to quicken success up with things.
Brings to mind Sun Tzus quote, "Every war is won before it even begins." Not sure if this is what he meant when saying that, but I have a good feeling.
Intelligence gives you with what to work. Intelligence allows you to make informed decisions.
I thought I was wise using websites like www.Spyfu.com or www.Buzzsumo.com, www.Compete.com all jokes compared to serious intelligence gathering companies like www.Palantir.com or www.Meltwater.com
I was telling my new flatmate here in Soho, his dad owns this (Panica) network in Brazil, with shows like Survivor and other funny stuff. Nearly 9 Million twitter followers. Here is an example of his work below.
An impressionable young kid (my little sisters age) which I am strategically helping/influencing to make him see, and who was sorta struck with a light bulb moment when I made clear to him what power he yields, because of his dad.
So... Back to the point here. Take a look at the video below to understand and start loving these tools with which we can seep knowledge and intelligence.
A Strangers Invitation - Part 1
On the 4th day of hannukah a message came to me. Weird because whoever left it happened to drink my wine and placed an envelope right next to the empty glass.
Hmm, I was thinking as I opened it. Glitter EVERYWHERE as I thought "fuckkk!! I was pranked".
As I go to throw it out and begin to scheme up ways to "payback" whoever did this to me, I break down possibilitie. Was it Zohar? Nah, too busy with the baby. Ronnie? He would do someth.... what's this? A letter under all the glitter.
It read:
"To the roses thorn,
Your presence would be graciously appreciated at a private event with the "Shablackhgafalzalintfueitiviousneressniwit" family. [The fuck?]
Your host and family will like for you to appear, on the 3rd sunset, on the Lower East Side of a city they call Manhattan, at the intersection of Ganeden Street and Gehonom Ave."
Wow, these Nigerians have become quite sophisticated, stepped up their game. Picking up on current trends, and even want to meet. That is definitely new.
I think nothing of it as two days pass and then I remember a person with whom I once spoke, he shared with me that he lost $20,000 to a scammer pulling the same type shit.
Fuck it I said, I'll go just to mess with these guys. I once heard and saw images of a similar scammer who was convinced by the scamee to get tattoos of Mr. Burns from the Simpsons on his chest. Was very amusing to see.
So, I head out and I bring my pocket knife with me, just in case.
I made a right down the street and suddenly realized, I don't recognize anything around me. Did I never come down this way? Well, I continue on and see Gehonom Ave. It struck me to be a run down, grayish type of bland place. I went to ask someone if I was going in the right direction but their ears were muffled, listening to something, eyes in a trance. I look closer and see little screens on their eyeballs. They seemed to be strained, confused, in some sort of anguish - mentally busy anyway. Everyone I turned to was the same.
I continue on when a vagrant asked me for change. Filthy and dirty, I just wanted to get away and so I made a sharp turn onto Chaim St to avoid him. When I looked back to make sure he isn't following me I notice the scene has changed and all I saw behind me was a cliff I would have most certainly fell off had I not turned.
I can see the sign for GanEden St and where it meets with Gehonom. Definitely brighter, more colorful area, GanEden St is.
I knock on the door at 101 and look around. A humble building, smaller than the others around but definitely comfy. "Sinai Arms" it said on a plaque outside with faint lettering. I can only make out the EST but nothing after it, for NY it def looks old.
A water well was outside of the place and I thought who the hell uses wells in NYC? Bunch of women laboring over the thing, picking them up, putting them down.
One caught my eye as I noticed she was gracious with her movements, had good balance I thought. Hmm, I like that she actually bends @ the knees when picking things up rather than, well, shoving her ass in the air...
With my face pointing to the right, where this amazing girl was, I went to knock on the door in front of me and I noticed my hand is going further than it should. It was opened.
I walk inside and a feeling of warmth envelopes me. Amazing little trinkets and colorful auras emanating from all of these little things. I need to find out where in China Town they get this stuff.
As I adjust the patch on my left eye, I receive a tiny but sharp jolt of pain from the unsuccessful surgery I had had to try and fix it.
From the corner of my right eye I notice someone to my left moving back in forth, trancelike, in prayer, with straps of black leather wrapped several times around his arm and hand. Tefillin.
As I go to ask him what exactly is going on here and what this is all about I was struck by the depth in his eyes. I had to look twice, broke contact and then thrice and was simply transfixed. Like a vast sunny ocean behind what is normally just a glassy stare.
I began to move my lips to ask him again, when he put out his arm for me to grasp and shake it. I looked at it and so I did. He explained his name is Jesus and that he... Oh my friends name is Jesus, I proclaimed. "Not [hey Zeus!!] that's my cousin and he is on business in Athens @ the moment. It's [Jee Zus]"
Jesus, calm down dude. I gotchya, I said.
"I want to introduce you to my mother"
With that he took me into another room where I saw a woman dressed in some sort of religious attire, looked like a nun, looked naive, definitely a virgin if I had to guess.
She began to explain that she likes to put careful planning into things, quite superstitious as she kept on blessing the name of her son "may he live forever" "may he be successful"
She went on about the meticulous way that she planned how to cook the chicken in the oven. Calculating and analytical, a sudden thought jumped to mind. God forbid this woman ever cooks up a scheme to manipulate people and use her obvious ability to think things thru to do it.
Anyway, Jesus came over and said he wanted to show me a trick. Quite the show off he is actually. Now that I stop to think of it for a fraction of a moment, he certainly likes recognition. He put a bucket in the sink and filled it with water. He then placed the bucket in between the two of us and stepped into it with his left foot. He went on to put all his weight on his left foot and to my surprise it did not sink into the bucket. Quite impressive I thought and also said to him, while in the back of my mind I'm thinking I shouldve TVoed David Blains last show so I can pull this kind of shit in the bars and impress the females.
Trying not to waste time, I explain (lying) that I have some place to be soon.

"Courage is not simply one of the virtues, but the form of every virtue at the testing point." ~ C.S. Lewis on how to be a better writer [Amazing Advice]
What really matters is:–
1. Always try to use the language so as to make quite clear what you mean and make sure your sentence couldn't mean anything else.
2. Always prefer the plain direct word to the long, vague one. Don'timplement promises, but keep them.
3. Never use abstract nouns when concrete ones will do. If you mean "More people died" don't say "Mortality rose."
4. In writing. Don't use adjectives which merely tell us how you want us to feel about the thing you are describing. I mean, instead of telling us a thing was "terrible," describe it so that we'll be terrified. Don't say it was "delightful"; make us say "delightful" when we've read the description. You see, all those words (horrifying, wonderful, hideous, exquisite) are only like saying to your readers, "Please will you do my job for me."
5. Don't use words too big for the subject. Don't say "infinitely" when you mean "very"; otherwise you'll have no word left when you want to talk about something really infinite.
Thanks for the photos. You and Aslan both look v. well. I hope you'll like your new home.

Time and how it limits progress.
Since time is a man made, invisible limitation, I can't suggest harnessing this concept unless it has to do with congregating for some sort of beneficial action, hwhatever that might be..
I think the concept of time is one of the things that oppresses people sooo fuck all that noise.
Introspective, extroverted, learning to see past faces and glassy eyed masks of experience, knowledge, into the souls of lions who have been limited and caged by their brains.

Point of view from a Hamas Fighters Perspective.
Also, now my 5 year old neighbors parents are angry at me because I had used the little girl as a human shield when the IDF was returning fire in my direction.
The worst part is my oppression from progressive thought due to incapacitating influence my religion and strict leaders have chained my people with.
I know that israel is more advanced and that I'll probably have a kindergarten named after me when I am martyred but at least then I'll have peace.
Mostly what's paramount to us is keeping people confused, thinking that we are doing this for a just cause, that Israel stole our land, rapes our daughters, controls the world with their evil [think MuHaHA]. Really the only reason that we terrorize our own people is Money and political power.
To close, I would say that I know my people need education in order to grow and prosper but they are not ready to accept that fact.
I wish that I can change things and talk about my ideas for progress but then my head comes off so I bite my tongue, knowing even my children are led blindly by this ideology of murder, martyrdom and death. The stifling of their education will only serve to prolong the problem for generations"
-Gillyroze - If I were a Hamas Fighter.
[For full disclosure purposes, I am not a Hamas terrorist, just a blogger from NY.]

My answer to a quora question: Is capitalism dystopian?
Do you realize that if some corporations simply share a bit of their profits that poverty can be eradicated across the world.
Like when they converted factories to make goods for the front during WW2.
In my opinion we are most certainly living In a dystopian societ bc of the failure of the elite to love and care for everybody on the planet, not just themselves and their families/friends.
This survival of the fittest "I beat you, I'm the best" nonsense which at one point as humans was necessary but not anymore, for survival, is complete shit and doesn't take into consideration the innocent weak.
I eat the best delicacies in specialty food shops to my hearts content, free. Here in Soho, NYC. Why? Because stupid people are conditioned to look for a vagrant with torn cloths and all. I go to my favorite cheeses, try a few of the best and most expensive and then explain (with a snobby aura) that "it isn't up to par with my standard."
Just trying to show an example of the result of conditioning here.
I think people are missing the point of the question though.
He is asking if capitalism, as it currently works, is dystopian.
Considering that the technology to eradicate hunger and homelessness already exists, but isn't put to that use, is quite intriguing.
Perhaps those in charge don't think simply giving these people these things is the way to go.
I understand the whole teach a man to fish don't give him one thing but they fail to even meet these people in the middle with proper education etc.
There's a story of a man who asked an Indian once where he saw the white went wrong.
The Indian man explained that he didn't understand why when the "white men" came they had wayyy more stuff than that needed.
He couldn't understand the whole concept of hoarding wealth the way we do.
He explained that if there was someone within their community who didn't have a house, they would feel pity for the person and the whole community then builds that persona house.
Considering this, the way Capitalism works today is definitely dystopian/Orwellian. It is a form of mental illness associated with conforming that leads others here, with their answers, to think capitalism, as it is, is the best way. You have to be insane to fit well within an insane society.
And people wonder why they are depressed.
